YES? or NO? ( COM101)

" Yes ". Given the reasons below:1. Yes. It is a good thing because the simpler the better to avoid confusions and misleading interpretation of given situation.2. It will give the simplest way of explaining a certain events or phenomenon. But, as I read and analyze the question, I decided not to glued my ideas in just simple explanation.I begin to ask my friends what is their view about this query. Searching for best opinion is quite difficult. Especially if they're not interested to the given topic and query.I think I have to sleep for a moment.Yankee? Do you really want to learn if " Parsimony is always a good thing?''. Yes, I want to know what is the best answer to that query. I think it's just "often" but not that "always".After 4hrs of sleep , I now have happy face.First defined to be a valid criterion for choosing between theories. It is an issue. For example, In line with the communication I believe that people nowadays, wants to have simple theory because they're not fond of searching alot of more deep ideas but rather ' Simple' thoughts of view is much accepted.
Hence, we cannot deny the fact that " some" of us wants to have intricate theory for better answer in a complex type of phenomena.
Another example, " When you read a magazine or a newspaper and if that article brings intricate theory, how can it be possible that people esp. in rural areas, can understand immediately and can relate to the said issue? If that is really vague; hard for them to understand. Parsimony is really important to be used in this situation. I strongly believe also that we need to consider people who is hard to catch and understand certain issues.Let's be more sensitive in away that they can easily get the real point of the given topic. It's not new to us that " Simplicity is Beauty" in all aspects.
Since, time much effort has gone into demonstrating the claim that either system was more parsimonious than the other.
Up to now I'm still confuse because I agreed that, if the goal is only to descibe data accurately, then parsimony is irrelevant. If the goal is to descibe accurately and concisely, or predict future events in the presence of noise. then parsimony becomes our guard against over-fitting.
Also, there must be a thorough analysis first before we could get there right explanation of a certain phenomenon. Indeed, it will be a great help in coming up with conclusions by gathering facts and coming up with right analysis.
I then learned that parsimony is " a principle that states the simplest explanation that explains the greatest number of observations to have more complex explanation".
By treating two topics separately it should be cleare not only how parsimony is applied, but what it is all about.
This is to accept the truth that ' PARSIMONY IS NOT ALWAYS A GOOD THING , BUT IT IS GOOD TO SAY OFTEN. Sometimes we need to accept that it is better to have intricate theory for most valid answer.
Thanks for the time that I used to sleep , so when I'm vague there's still another way for me to analyze things well.

indeed, being parsimonious with words could also be a good thing. But there are times that being too parsimonious could eliminate the words that add spice and life to an idEA, MESSAGE OR EXPLANATION...=)
